First edition (xxiii, 83), No. 373 of an edition limited to 200 (Nos. 326- 525) printed on hand-made paper with 40 tipped in colour plates (c. 23cm x 30cm) by Thomas Bewick, tissue guards. Three-quarter leather over tan cloth, gilt titles to front cover and spine, text block uncut/ unopened. Minor stain bottom edge of rear endpapers.
