Small folio (32 cm) in red publisher's cloth, gilt decoration and titles to front covers and spines, decoration in blind to back covers. Each volume with a full page colour photo frontispiece, additional full page photo portraits of singers and composers (quite a good photo of Edward Elgar), and about fifty songs of variable interest-- some lyrics by Scott, Byron, Burns, and Shakespeare, some music by Purcell and Handel. Corners bumped, backstrips faded, heads and tails abraded; one hinge and backstrip section neatly repaired; otherwise clean and bright. Price: $100.00
