Seller ID: 2840R New York: Scholastic, 1999. Later printing of first American edition (pp. 341). Points present: ‘printed in Mexico’, number line (46… 36 00/1234), price on dust wrapper $19.95, number with small bar code on rear wrapper 51995, has ‘Year 2’. Possibly third state of first edition, but ‘Printed in Mexico” and ‘Printed in Mexico by Quebecor World’, together with number line, suggest it’s simply a much later printing (the 35th). In any event, Quebecor printed much of Scholastic’s Potter series, including this title, at its facilities in the U. S. and, as here, Mexico.
