Large folio (44 cm) in modern bespoke binding (half sheep over black buckram) gilt titles; nineteen hand-coloured maps, historical sketches, town plans, views, portraits, patrons. Maps include Canada West (double page), Canada East (double page), Manitoba, Keewatin and NWT (double page), counties; townships Alnwick, Brighton, Cavan, Cartwright, Clarke, Cramahe, Darlington, Haldimand, Hope, Manvers, Murray, Percy, Seymour, South Monaghan. This copy has been skilfully repaired to the point of revival with recent new covers, occasional patches, closed tears; in several places a lost corner has been replaced. Belden’s county atlases were reprinted by MIKA on the occasion of Canada’s centennial. A scarce atlas in acceptable condition. Price: $750.00
